Kazakhstan to continue evacuation of its citizens from China

AKIPRESS.COM - Kazakhstan will continue evacuation of its citizens willing to leave China, the Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan said.
Two Air Astana planes will be dispatched to Beijing for evacuation of Kazakh citizens on February 10 and 12 in consultation with the Chinese authorities. Health professionals will accompany the evacuees on their way back to Kazakhstan, the Ministry said.
47 citizens of China staying in Kazakhstan will be airlifted by these planes to Beijing at the request of the Chinese authorities.
According to the Foreign Ministry, 719 citizens of Kazakhstan stay in China. 391 of them asked assistance in their return to the home country. The remaining citizens, family members of diplomats, students and others, chose to remain in China.
