Government neglects hepatitis patients over coronavirus: Patients Organization

AKIPRESS.COM - The government is actively taking measures against coronavirus and patients with hepatitis are asked to wait, said the representative of hepatitis patients organization Nurgazy Baatyrbekov at the parliament committee meeting on Feb 10. Baatyrbekov noted that the Ministry of Health has not done anything to work with hepatitis patients for the last three months.
"The large funds are allocated for fight against coronavirus, at the same time over 100,000 patients with hepatitis are dying. This issue even was not raised at the meeting of the Security Council, but they discussed the coronavirus issue," Baatyrbekov outraged.
The Deputy Health Minister Madamin Karatayev disagreed with the accusations.
