Interior Ministry, National Security Committee seize 274 kg of hashish, 3.5 kg of methamphetamine

AKIPRESS.COM - The record breaking amount of hashish and methamphetamine was seized in Kyrgyzstan, the Drug Control Service said. The activities of the international drug trafficking group were foiled in the special operation carried out by the Interior Ministry's Drug Control Service and the State National Security Committee with support of UNODC and EU-ACT.
The international channel of trafficking of drugs from Afghanistan to Kyrgyzstan was unveiled. 274 kg of hashish and 3.5 kg of methamphetamine were seized.
The organizers of the drug trafficking channel were detained.
