Mass disorders in Kazakhstan near border with Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - The brawl and attacks on police officers occurred in the villages of Masanchi and Sortobe, Kordai district, Jambyl region of Kazakhstan, last night. Social media users claimed it was conflict between Kazakhs and Dunghans.
The local police department said the conflict was localized and the situation is under control.
"A brawl occurred in Masanchi village between villagers. The police localized the conflict, the situation is under control," the local police department said.
The pre-trial investigation was launched into hooliganism. The police are locating those behind the brawl.
The police have not specified the cause of the conflict.
The Kazakh villages of Masanchi and Sortobe border with Kyrgyzstan. They are separated from the Kyrgyz town of Tokmok with the Chu river.
