State Border Service of Kazakhstan denies rumors on closure of Kyrgyz-Kazakh border

AKIPRESS.COM - The State Border Service of Kazakhstan denied the report on closure of the Kazakh-Kyrgyz border over escalation of the situation in Kordai district, Jambyl region of Kazakhstan. The border crossing points function as normally, the State Border Service said.
The State Border Service of Kyrgyzstan said earlier security measures were stepped up on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border.
The video from Masanchi village was shared in social media, Baigenews reports. It shows the burnt houses, some of which are still smouldering.
