Madina bazaar sellers tell how coronavirus outbreak in China affected them

AKIPRESS.COM - Director General of the Madina fabrics bazaar Erik Umarbayev told Tazabek how the situation over the closure of borders with China because of the noval coronavirus outbreak affected the sales.
"We have a stock of fabrics enough for a year, but in case the border with China will be closed for a year, we will be importing fabrics from Turkey and South Korea," he said.
The situation in Madina bazaar did not change because of the virus.
"Every year the border closes because of the Chinese new year, and thus Chinese suppliers deliver their products beforehand," he said.
The sellers spotted no agio, prices for fabrics because of the situation did not change, they said.
