Ministry of Education and Science to hold nation-wide week of science and technology for school students of Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - The national week of science, technology and production for school students will be held in Kyrgyzstan from 10 February through 14 devoted to the Year of Development of Regions, Digitization and Support of Children.
The opening of the week will be held on February 10 at all education institutions of Kyrgyzstan.
On science day, February 11, school students will be taken on excursions to the National Academy of Sciences, IT Park, research institutes, universities of the countries, where they will meet with researchers and attend lectures on achievements of the world science and technology, participate in competitions and quizzes.
On February 12, production day, school students will be taken on tours to industrial enterprises, factories, plants and workshops to see technologies and become familiarized with technical professions. Students will meet with engineers and developers there.
The olympiad on science and inventions will be held on February 12-13 at the National Academy of Sciences. Twenty teams from all regions of Kyrgyzstan are expected to partake.
Winners will be awarded with prizes at the closing ceremony of the week on February 14 at the National Academy of Sciences in Bishkek.
The week is held by the Ministry of Education and Science, Children's Engineering Academy.
