Unemployment rate makes 9% in Uzbekistan

AKIPRESS.COM - Unemployment rate in Uzbekistan made 9% of economically active population, which is 0.3% less than in 2018, according to the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations of Uzbekistan.
The number of workforce makes slightly more than 19 million people.
The number of job seekers made 1.33 million. The unemployment rate among people aged 16-30 years made 15%, among women - 12.8%.
The number of citizens employed in informal economic sector made 5.37 million.
