Kazakhstan reduces quota for attraction of foreign workers by 40%

AKIPRESS.COM - Kazakhstan gave permissions to 29,292 foreign workers or 0.3% of the total number of workers in the country this year, Prime Minister's press service reported. The quota was reduced by 40% compared to the number confirmed in 2019 (48,700).
Aktobe, West Kazakhstan, Kyzylorda and North Kazakhstan regions fully refused from attraction of foreign workers and plan to cover demands by local specialists.
Adoption of this quota will allow to protect the domestic market from unskilled foreign workers.
