Kyrgyz doctors waiting for reagents from Russian and Chinese colleagues to detect coronavirus in few hours

AKIPRESS.COM - Prime Minister Muhamedkaliy Abilgaziyev chaired a government meeting on prevention of transmission and spread of coronavirus in Kyrgyzstan, the government said on Feb 3. During the meeting, the heads of Health Ministry, the Foreign Ministry, Emergencies Ministry, State Border Service, State Inspection for veterinary and phytosanitary security, State Service for Fight against Economic Crimes (financial police) reported on taken measures.
Health Minister Kosmosbek Cholponbayev said that to date no coronavirus-infection is registered in Kyrgyzstan and the epidemiological situation in the republic is stable. According to him, the Kyrgyz doctors are expecting to receive special reagents from Russian and Chinese colleagues, which can detect coronavirus in a few hours.
Prime Minister instructed to boost the monitoring of epidemiological situation in the country and to undertake a range of preventive measures, as well as noted that this issue is under personal control of President.
Prime Minister ordered to take actions to prevent overstatement of prices for antiviral drugs and masks.
