Uzbek Health Ministry suggests to restrict travel from China

AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Health of Uzbekistan Alisher Shadmanov suggested restricted travel to Uzbekistan from China. "It is necessary to restrict visas for travel to Uzbekistan for the period of coronavirus epidemic," Health Minister Alisher Shadmanov said.
The Minister said Uzbekistan needs to temporarily restrict travel citizens of Uzbekistan to China and travel from China to the country.

The World Health Organization declared the coronavirus outbreak a public-health emergency of international concern Thursday as the first person-to-person transmission of the virus was reported in the U.S.
7,736 confirmed cases of coronavirus and more than 12,000 suspected cases were reported solely in China. The death toll from the virus reached 213 in China. The number of infected people reached 9,692, the Chinese National Health Commission said.
