Tajikistan, Japan eye expansion of bilateral cooperation

AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan Zavki Zavkizoda met Ambassador of Japan to Tajikistan Takayuki Miyashita to discuss current bilateal cooperation and its prospects, the Ministry of Economic Development said.
The upcoming meeting of Tajikistan-Japan intergovernmental commission and expansion of activities of Japan International Cooperation Agency in Tajikistan were considered.
The ways to boost bilateral trade, to attract Japanese investments and create ventures in free economic zones, establishment of cooperation in agriculture and export of agricultural products to Japan were discussed.
Use of Japanese production technologies, intensified work of business incubators, presentation of Tajikistan as a tourist destination in Japan were touched upon among other issues.
