381 children get HIV/AIDS because of fault of health workers in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - 381 children were infected with HIV/AIDS at the fault of health care workers of public or municipal medical facilities in Kyrgyzstan, according to lawmakers Dastan Bekeshev and Baktybek Turusbekov who came up with draft amendments to some laws of Kyrgyzstan.
The draft amendments are aimed to secure monetary compensations to persons infected with HIV/AIDS at the fault of health care workers in the amount of 100,000 soms.
These amendments will be applied to underage children on the day of detection of HIV/AIDS from August 23, 2005.
