Kazakhstanis who are still in China to be evacuated by additional flights from Beijing and Urumqi

AKIPRESS.COM - Kazakhstanis, who have not yet returned home from China, will be evacuated by additional flights from Beijing and Urumqi, as Kazakhstan shuts down all transport links with China from February 3 over coronavirus outbreak, the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development reported.
"Additional flights from Beijing and Urumqi will be organized for evacuation of the remaining passengers," the press service said.
Those, who already bought tickets for flights between the countries by Air Astana, SCAT, China Southern Airlines and Air China, are asked to request a ticket refund at the place of purchase.
The Ministry also noted that the following bus routes will be suspended from January 27: Almaty - Nur-Joly - Urumqi, Ust-Kamenogorsk - Maikapchagai - Urumqi, Zharkent - Khorgas - Ghulja, Ayagoz - Bakhty - Zimunai.
The railway communication of the route Almaty - Urumqi and Nur-Sultan - Urumqi will be reduced until the Dostyk station. Movement of Chinese trains on Urumqi - Almaty will be suspended.
