Eurasian Development Bank to expand its presence in Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Chairman of the Samruk-Kazyna national fund of Kazakhstan Akhmetzhan Yesimov and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Eurasian Development Bank Andrey Belyaninov signed a memorandum on cooperation to develop a strategic partnership, zakon.kz reported.
The document implies participation of the EDB in financing of investment projects of the KazMunayGaz JSC.
As part of cooperation, the sides are committed to carry out a thorough selection of financed projects in line with international standard of banking activities.
Yesimov noted that the EDB has already participated in the largest infrastructure project - construction of the Saryarka gas pipeline, which covers the cities of Nur-Sultan, Karaganda, Temirtau, Jezkazgan and about 2.7 people from nearby settlements.
