China coronavirus: Kyrgyzstan temporarily bans import of meat from China

AKIPRESS.COM - The State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Safety Inspectorate of Kyrgyzstan is boosting control on the veterinary checkpoints on the borders and airports.
Kyrgyzstan temporarily banned import of meat and meat products from China to Kyrgyzstan until the situation with Chinese coronavirus normalizes.
The Inspectorate said that since the beginning of 2020, China did not import of meat and meat products to Kyrgyzstan.
On January 24, Chinese authorities said the death toll from the new coronavirus had risen to 25, with 830 confirmed cases. Of the confirmed cases, 177 were in a serious condition and 34 have been "cured and discharged", the National Health Commission said.
