Turkmen President receives new Turkish Ambassador

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Turkish Ambassador Togan Oral, who presented his credentials the head of state, Trend reports.
The parties exchange of views on key areas of the development of interstate partnership, built on the principles of mutual benefit and long-term cooperation, the statement said.
The priority areas of cooperation between the two countries included trade and economic sphere, energy, construction, textile industries, as well as transport and communication sectors.
The role of the Turkmen-Turkish intergovernmental commission and the joint business council was noted as effective mechanisms for expanding and diversifying mutually beneficial partnerships, the state news agency said.
