Interior Ministry’s public council familiarize with activities of digitalized command center

AKIPRESS.COM - The members of Interior Ministry's public council held a monitoring of digitalized command center of Bishkek Directorate of Internal Affairs on Jan 22, the ministry reports. The Deputy Interior Minister Almazbek Orozaliyev and Bishkek police chief Kanat Jumagaziyev briefed on the activities of the center and demonstrated the operation of cameras across the city.
Orozaliyev added that each employee of patrol police and policemen have body cameras.
14 people work in the center by turns, the command center's employees notice incident and send this information through the system to police, then police send a patrol service to the scene.
The chairman of the council Yalkun Dautov noted the positive dynamics since the launch of Safe City project and establishment of patrol police.
Bishkek police chief Kanat Jumagaziyev was awarded by the Dautov for the contribution to the digitalization of the road police and on occasion of 95th anniversary of Kyrgyz militia.
Deputy Interior Minister thanked the members of the public council for their assessment and activities.
Following the meeting, Jumagaziyev shares with plans for 2020 for the further digitalization of the subdivisions, expansion of "My district militia officer" mobile app and improvement of tourist police activities.
