Kyrgyz budget lost 5bn soms from fuel smuggling in 2018 alone

AKIPRESS.COM - The shadow turnover of fuel and lubricants in Kyrgyzstan in 2018 was 25%, according to the experts, including from the Ministry of Economy, Tazabek reports.

The situation was improved after the government of Kyrgyzstan banned export of fuel and lubricants by road from Kazakhstan.
"With the adoption of this resolution the situation began to stabilize," the statement said.
