Uzbekistan tightens epidemiological control on borders over deadly coronavirus outbreak in China

AKIPRESS.COM - Uzbekistan has stepped up epidemiological control on the border crossing points. The epidemiological control was heightened for passengers arriving from China at airports of Uzbekistan.
People with pneumonia and other acute respiratory diseases are isolated and hospitalized.
These measures are adopted in connection with outbreak of the deadly coronavirus 2019-nCo in China, the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan said.
The number of people confirmed to have contracted the disease on the mainland jumped from 41 to more than 300 this week, with six deaths so far, while Thailand has reported two cases and Japan, Taiwan and South Korea have reported one case each of the virus.
