In Pictures: Boeing-747 plane crash site in village of Dachi SU today

AKIPRESS.COM - Three years ago today, the Boeing-747 plane with cargo crashed into the Dachi SU village near the Manas international airport killing 39 people: 35 on the ground and 4 air crew members-citizens of Turkey.
The plane was en route to Istanbul from Hong Kong with a stopover in Bishkek for refueling and air crew shift.
The area of crash amounted to 5 hectares. 19 houses were fully destroyed, 7 other houses were destroyed partially, 12 farm objects were damaged.
Today the crash site was fenced. It was previously planned to build a park there, but it's not there yet.
On January 10, a local resident told AKIpress that no talks on the resettlement of residents are being held today.
"After the disaster, we were given 25,000 soms each and nothing else afterwards. There were no talks about resettlement. Many people are selling their houses here, but no one wants to buy them," the woman said.
She said the locality needs a kindergarten, school and obstetrician station.
