Amendments concerning Talco, Rogun HPP passed by Tajik Parliament

AKIPRESS.COM - The lower chamber of the Parliament of Tajikistan today has passed the amendments to the law on state-owned property privatization, Avesta reports.
The amendments permit attraction of investments for development of two government-owned entities - aluminum company Talco and Rogun HPP.
100% of Talco shares belong to the state.
However, a part of Rogun HPP shares were sold for 800 million somonis.
In June 2016, the law on privatization of state-owned property was amended. They said then the Talco, Nurek and Rogun HPPs, defense enterprises and water resources will not be subject to privatization.
