Subway construction in Bishkek is not planned

AKIPRESS.COM - Reports on construction of a subway in Bishkek are fake, the Bishkek city council announced.
Bishkek city council MP Kanatbek Muzuraliyev told Bishkek mayor Aziz Surakmatov that Bishkek allegedly signed a contract with someone to open two subway branches in Bishkek. Construction was reported to begin in 2020 and end in 2025. "Is this real information?" he asked.
"We don't have such project," Surakmatov replied. "It's someone's fantasy," the mayor said.
