Kyrgyzstan ready for border talks with Tajikistan

AKIPRESS.COM - President Sooronbai Jeenbekov today held a working meeting on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border situation, the president's press service said. The President was briefed about the actions taken to prevent border conflicts, to ensure border security, including on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border.
The President reminded both sides reaffirmed commitment to maintaining stable situation on the common border during his phone conversation with President Emomali Rahmon.
Vice Prime Minister Jenish Razakov said the delegation of Kyrgyzstan is ready for the talks with the Tajik side that will be held on January 14 in border areas.
