Kazakhstan president congratulates new sultan of Oman

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated new sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq.
Haitham bin Tariq was named a new sultan by late Qaboos Al Said in a letter opened following his death on Friday at 79.
The new leader has held governmental positions over the last three decades, including minister of culture and heritage, general secretary of foreign affairs and head of the Anglo-Omani society.
He also led the Oman Vision 2040 committee, the country's economic and social development strategy.
