Animal shelter for stray dogs and cats to be opened in Bishkek

AKIPRESS.COM - "We want to open animal shelter for stray dogs and cats with the help of non-governmental organizations and others," said Bishkek vice-mayor Mirlan Amanturov at the meeting with activists on Jan 13. The new draft regulation will be submitted for Bishkek local council and later will be submitted for public discussion. If Bishkek local council supports the draft regulation, so the work will be launched in 2020, said the mayor's adviser Gulya Almambetova.
"The comments and suggestions may be submitted to the deputy heads of the 4 districts, you may also propose places for walking, which should be fenced and safe for children. Two vice mayors will work closely on this project," she said.
