Probe launched into rock attack on Kyrgyz cars on Kyrgyz-Tajik border

AKIPRESS.COM - Probes into rock throwing at cars of two citizens of Kyrgyzstan, rock attack on a house and shooting at Kyrgyzstani citizens and border guards from the Tajikistani side have been launched, the Interior Ministry said.
Interior Ministry internal security forces arrived in Batken region for maintaining public order and holding awareness raising campaign among locals.
Deputy Interior Minister Almaz Orozaliyev also arrived in Batken region. The special purpose regiment Shumkar was switched to reinforced regime.
These measures are taken by the border services and local authorities, the situation on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border is relatively stable, the statement said.
Additionally no injuries or casualties were reported from the last night shooting, the statement added.
