Mongolian Education Ministry hands over lab equipment and supplies for $4.3 million to schools

AKIPRESS.COM - The Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sport of Mongolia handed over laboratory equipment and school supplies valued at around $4.3 million to 871 schools. As part of ADB project 555 schools were supplied with math learning aids, 82 schools were provided with lab equipment, 316 schools received audio and video equipment.
The general education sector plan for 2020-203 sets the concrete tasks for improvement of learning environment and increase of investments. The focus should be made on STEM education, Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sport Yendonperenlein Baatrarbileg said.
Provision of labs to 21 aimags and 9 district schools of the capital city will be a significant contribution into improvement of learning environment, the Ministry said.
