AKIPRESS.COM - For the period from January 1 to December 22, 2019 the subdivisions fighting against smuggling and violations of customs rules of the State Customs Service revealed 1812 facts of customs violations. Fines in the amount of 8.6 million soms and customs payments in the amount of 175.9 million soms were paid as a result of work done.
Most attempts of illegal import and smuggling were made from neighboring countries like Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, China and some non-CIS countries like Turkey, UAE and others.
