AKIPRESS.COM - A magnitude 4.0 earthquake has been registered in Eastern Kazakhstan region on January 3 at 7:51 am local time, the seismology expedition of the Ministry of Education of Kazakhstan reported. The quake was centered 510 km north of Almaty.
No tremors were reported.
Prior to this, a 4.4 magnitude earthquake was recorded on January 1, 2020 with the epicenter on the territory of China.
