Uzbekistan introduces 30-day visa waiver period for UAE foreign residents

AKIPRESS.COM - The amendments were introduced into the presidential order on further easing of visa requirements and travel to Uzbekistan for UAE citizens on December 28, Kun.uz reports. The amendments are aimed at further attraction of foreign direct investments into Uzbekistan and increase of investment attractiveness of the country for UAE investors.
UAE foreign residents have been added to the visa waiver list.
Visa waiver will be effective for UAE citizens from 20 March 2019, as well as for foreign nationals who have become UAE residence since 1 January 2020 for a stay under 30 days.
