Government allocates 3.5 million soms for treatment of Chui region police in Moscow

AKIPRESS.COM - The government will allocate 3.5 million soms for treatment of Chui region police chief Samat Kurmankulov. The corresponding decree was signed on Dec 19 by Kyrgyz Prime Minister Muhamedkaly Abilgaziyev. Payment of treatment costs will be made from the funds Interior Ministry's budget for 2019.
Kurmankulov received severe brain injuries during the failed attempt to storm the residence of ex-President Almazbek Atambayev on August 7 in Koi-Tash. He underwent two surgeries. On August 12, Kurmankulov was transported to the one of the rehabilitation centers in Moscow.
