AKIPRESS.COM - The Netherland's Fokker will send a group of experts to Kazakhstan for collaborative investigation of causes of crash of Fokker-100 plane operated by pilots of Bek Air. "In accordance with the standard protocol, we will send a small team as a technical support," Fokker spokesperson told RIA Novosti.
The time when the group will be sent to Almaty was not specified.
The plane of Bek Air was departing from Almaty to Nur-Sultan in the morning of December 27 but lost altitude shortly after take-off. The plane ran into the 2-storey building near the runway. 8 people died at the scene, 4 died of injuries in airport and hospital. More than 50 were injured. 8 were in critical condition, the second pilot among them. The captain of the crew died in the crash.
