Cooperation with UN holds special place in Kyrgyzstan’s foreign policy concept - Envoy

AKIPRESS.COM - Cooperation with the United Nations Organization and its agencies holds a special place in foreign policy concept of Kyrgyzstan, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to UN Mirgul Moldoisayeva said. She said the new concept was approved in March 2019.
"We will further develop constructive relations so that our country will develop in a peaceful, safe, sustainable environment. Our priorities were stipulated in the National Sustainable Development Strategy: development of the regions, digitization of the country, water supply, irrigation, judicial and legislative reforms, education and health care - these are areas on which we need to focus," she added.
Ambassador Moldoisayeva said UN provides financial and technical assistance to the Kyrgyz government in justice and peaceful development, sustainable and inclusive economic development, environmental protection, climate change adaptation and disaster risk management.
