Academician involved in Batukayev’s case is on sick leave: Lawyer

AKIPRESS.COM - The academician Abduhalim Raimjanov is on sick leave at home, said his lawyer Nina Zotova on Dec 27. According to her, Raimjanov's condition is stable, however lawyer did not disclose his diagnosis.

Crime boss Aziz Batukayev was illegally released from prison in 2013 over fake leukemia diagnosis, investigators said. He partially served his term in Naryn prison until he was freed over fake leukemia diagnosis in 2013. Batukayev had 8.3 years of prison term yet to be served.
