Kazakhstan's main Christmas tree ranks 9th on height among CIS countries

AKIPRESS.COM - A New Year tree in Nur-Sultan gained the 9th place on its height among the CIS countries this year, TurStatreported. The highest 40-meter Christmas tree was set up in Ashgabat in 2019-2020 followed by those in Yerevan (37 meters) and Tashkent (36 meters).
The 4th place in the ranking belongs to a Christmas tree in Baku with the height of 34 meters. Then the New Year tree in Minsk (30 meters) and Dushanbe (29 meters) follow the ranking.
In Moscow and Bishkek, the Christmas tree are of 27 meter height.
Nur-Sultan's Christmas tree ranked 9th with 25 meter height followed by that of in Kishinev (20 meters).
The main New Year tree in Russia is the only live Christmas tree in the CIS countries.
