President Rahmon plants vineyard during visit to Khuroson district

AKIPRESS.COM - President Emomali Rahmon visited the Khuroson district in the Khatlon province on Dec 21, according to the Tajik president's official website.
The main purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the state of the agrarian sector in the district.
During the visit, Emomali Rahmon reportedly attended a ceremony of planting a vineyard on an area of 150 hectares.
The vineyard was reportedly planted by local farmers to increase in the country's grapes exports.
Tajik president's official website says that the vineyard was named "The Leader of Nation" in honor of the president.
