Ex-mayor Kubanychbek Kulmatov fined and released from custody

AKIPRESS.COM - Lenin district court of Bishkek ruled to fine ex-mayor Kubanychbek Kulmatov 5 million soms for corruption and release him from custody on December 23.
Kulmatov was arrested on June 5, 2018.
He was accused of corruption in construction of a school in Kalys-Ordo residence, embezzlement of funds in of the TNK Dastan JSC and corruption in granting municipal land plots.
Former head of the Public Administration for Capital Construction Stalbek Omurkanov, Head of Aikol-Stroy Company Seitkan Aliyev, and Head of "Alta Group" Kubat Sharshekeev were also fined and released from custody.
