Number of rare bird species increases in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - A number of rare species and migratory birds increased in the protected natural area of Kyrgyzstan, said SAEPF.
The state agency noted that over 350 species of migratory rare wild birds fly to Kyrgyzstan annually.
The SAEPF employees conducted awareness raising campaigns with the local residents and called them to respect the environment, flora and fauna, as well as monitored the increase or decrease in number of wild birds and animals.
233 nest in the country, including 114 non migratory birds, 119 migratory, 109 flying past, 20 stray and winter 28 species of birds.
