Kazakh President offers to increase taxes for unused lands

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is participating in the meeting of the National Council of Public Trust today in Nur-Sultan, Zakon.kz reports. The head of state in his speech commented on the problem of controlling over using agricultural lands in the country.
"I signed a law providing earth remote sensing," the President said.
He proposed to increase taxes for unused land plots in the country from 10 to 20 times.
