U.S. State Secretary to pay official visit to Kazakhstan in 2020

AKIPRESS.COM - Spokesman of the Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan Aibek Smadiyarov said that the U.S. State Secretary Mike Pompeo will visit Kazakhstan in the beginning of 2020, Informburo.kz reports.
Foreign Minister Mukhtar Tleuberdi met with Pompeo in Washington during his visit to the U.S.
"One of the agreements reached as a result oh his trip was that he invited the U.S. Secretary to visit Kazakhstan next year. We already started preparations for the visit. The program will be very intensive," Smadiyarov said.
Tleuberdi discussed a wide range of issues with his American collegue, he noted.
"We are boosting bilateral relations with the U.S. The American side is very interested," the spokesman added.
