EBRD holds 8th business platform in Ashgabat

AKIPRESS.COM - European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), in collaboration with the Consultants Department of the Union of Economists of Turkmenistan (UET), held the 8th Business Platform on Dec 10. The representative of the EBRD Natalia Akmyradova and the Chairman of the UET Yuri Aronsky gave speech at the opening ceremony. The organizers got acquainted with entrepreneurial activities in Turkmenistan and noted that the meeting will allow participants to obtain useful information for promoting their business.
The participants were divided into 4 groups and held discussions with the participation of a consultant on topics titled "Market as a minefield", "Food safety at work", "Costs of storing information - money down the drain or ensuring a reliable rear", and "Changes and risks in the organization."
EBRD and UET organized the first Business Platform in May 2017. The event is held regularly in the framework of the EBRD's Advice for Small Businesses programme, which aims to upgrade the skills and practices of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through local and international advice. The Advice for Small Businesses programme in Turkmenistan is funded by the European Union.
