Concentration of nitrogen peroxide was above norm in air of Bishkek

AKIPRESS.COM - An elevated concentration of the nitrogen peroxide has been detected in the air of Bishkek, the press service of the State Agency for Environmental Protection and Forestry of Kyrgyzstan reported.
Employees of the Agency checked the atmosphere at the intersections of Gagarin-Nekrasov, Beishenaliyev-Kievski, Baitik Batyr-Moscow streets.
The tests of the selected samples of air showed the figures above the short-term exposure limit in the named sites.
The employees also used drones to record the traffic jam, illegal parkings and violations of traffic rules.
The Agency plans to check other districts of the city as part of implementation of short-term measures on improvement of the ecological situation.
