Uzbekistan plans to change registration requirement for foreigners

AKIPRESS.COM - Uzbekistan will change the registration procedures for foreigners and stateless persons since July 1, 2020. Registration will not be required for stay under 30 days, according to the draft presidential order aimed to increase effectiveness of tourism industry reforms. The document was prepared by the State Tourism Committee.
The tourist fee collection system will be introduced since July 1, which would allow to pay fees using the national mobile payment applications and international payment systems.
Changes in the Air Code will be prepared by April to optimize airfare costs via launch of non-refundable fare and carry-on luggage options.
