President of Turkmenistan pardons 528 convicts in honor of International Neutrality Day

AKIPRESS.COM - The President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the order on pardoning 528 convicts on occasion of the International Neutrality Day, which is annually marked on Dec 5.
This is 4th pardoning campaign within a year, including 2,028 convicts were released in March, 764 convicts in May and 868 convicts in Sept. Overall, 4,188 convicts were pardoned in 2019.
The line ministries and agencies have been tasked to assist social adaptation and reintegration into the society of pardoned convicts.
