MP raises issue of receiving pensions in remote villages

AKIPRESS.COM - The residents of the remote villages are forced to travel to center to receive their pension, said MP Saidulla Nyshanov at the parliament committee meeting in Dec 9. According to him, the residents receive pensions by bank card, however not all villages have bank branches. So, pensioners spend 400-800 soms to get to the center, he said.
Nyshanov asked government to take this issue under control and held citizens.
"According to the data from the National Bank, to date, 271 village council have access to receive pensions by credit card," said Vice PM Altynai Omurbekova.
