Feminists march allowed in Almaty after 9 months of consideration

AKIPRESS.COM - A peaceful march of feminists in Almaty was attended only by 8 people, Informburo.kz reported. The march was planned to be held on March 8, 2019, but authorities decided to give a permission only after 9 months of consideration.
Activists of the Feminita organization at the event called for protection of women's rights in Kazakhstan. According to one og the activists Gulzada Serzhan, the municipal authorities refused to allow the march for several times.
