Funds not enough for painting road markings from thermosetting material on all roads – Ministry of Transport

AKIPRESS.COM - About 2 billion som are allocated for road networks, but these funds are not enough for painting of road markings from thermosetting material on all roads, lawyer and chief specialist of the department of automobile highways of the Ministry of Transport and Roads Kanatbek Beisheyev told a press conference on December 4. According to him, the funds for maintaining of roads are allocated from the state budget and the Ministry of Transport receives 5% from the Safe City.
"If 5% from the Safe City are allocated timely, this would create necessary conditions for road networks.
There is an order to paint road markings from thermosetting material, which keeps long and is more expensive, but these money are not enough for this, Beisheyev noted.
