AKIPRESS.COM - More than 10 TV channels in Kyrgyzstan do not abide the law of the country, Deputy Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism Nurjigit Kadyrbekov told a press conference in Bishkek. The department of information and mass communications is carrying out raids of TV channels that violate the norms of the legislation, he noted.
According to Kadyrbekov, 57 warnings were issued as a result of checks.
"We make acts, warn and then fine up to 30,000 som," he said.
To name what TV channels are violating the norms is unethical, he added.
