Winter tourism season opens in Issyk-Kul region

AKIPRESS.COM - The winter tourism season opened in the Issyk-Kul region, Turmush reports. The opening ceremony was attended by the skiers from Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Europe.
According to the representative of Karakol ski center Tatyana Smirnova, this year the winter season started later than usual.
"The delay is associated to the weather conditions. Prior to this, tourists came from the CIS countries, but since last year Kyrgyzstanis are mainly visit our center. The number of skiers is growing annually. The winter tourism will develop," she said.
